The Cyber Mentorship Program (CMP) is now accepting mentee applications!

The Cyber Mentorship Program (CMP) is a mentorship program offered in collaboration by the Cyber Intelligence and Security Organization (CISO) and the CSUSB Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) Chapter that is designed to be a year-long commitment that will help mentees develop their skills and define their path within cybersecurity. Mentees will be assigned to groups of about 6 students led by 1-3 upperclassmen mentors.

CMP is designed to help mentees grow academically, professionally, and technically. This program will help prepare cohort members for scholarship opportunities, internship opportunities, and ultimately, a relevant job after graduation. CMP is structured to mirror the training received by the National Science Foundation CyberCorps Scholarship for Service recipients at CSUSB. In fact, several of the previous mentees have been granted the Scholarship for Service Award after successfully completing this Cyber Mentorship Program.

We would like to continue this pipeline to success in the upcoming academic year. You don’t need to have any experience – just a willingness to learn! If you are interested in becoming a mentee, please fill out the application below. Feel free to reach out to Cristiana Gheorghiu at 007047333@coyote.csusb with any questions.
